Level Up With Backbone

Not only did Apple’s latest event show off the new iPhone 15 lineup, it featured news about some of the biggest titles in gaming coming soon. PC and console-exclusive games are coming directly to iPhone 15 Pro models this year with the awesome new A17 Pro chip. Check out a portion of the keynote here:

Assassins Creed Mirage

Assassin's Creed Mirage will be the thirteenth major installment in the Assassin's Creed series and the successor to 2020's Assassin's Creed Valhalla. It's coming to iPhone alongside the PS5 and Xbox Series X. Expect to see it on iPhone in early 2024.

Resident Evil 4

Originally released in 2023, Resident Evil 4 is a remake of the original reimagined for modern hardware like iPhone 15 Pro. Resident Evil 4 preserves the essence of the original game while introducing modernized gameplay, a reimagined storyline, and vividly detailed graphics to make this the latest survival horror game where life and death, terror, and catharsis intersect. Expect to see it on iPhone later this year.

Death Stranding Director’s Cut

From legendary game creator Hideo Kojima comes a genre-defying experience, now expanded and remastered coming directly to iPhone 15. This critically acclaimed title was originally released for PlayStation, Xbox and PC but will be coming to iPhone later this year.

The Division Resurgence

Originally announced in 2022, Ubisoft has been crafting this free-to-play experience for some time now. It's coming to iOS and Android in the fall and is sure to set a new president for Mobile Gaming.  Explore a new PvE campaign, taking on the role of a first-wave SHD agent and discovering the events around The Division 1 & 2.

Resident Evil Village

Experience the survival horror like on iPhone 15 Pro in the eighth major installment of the storied Resident Evil franchise - Resident Evil Village. Originally released in 2021 for Xbox, PlayStation and Desktop, this popular title is set to come to mobile later this year with the Power of A17 Pro.

Improved Gaming Graphics on iPhone 15 Pro

The GPU improvements coming to the A17 Pro chip are insane. Apple has taken a huge step in delivering console-quality content directly to your phone for gaming on the go.

The new chip comes with hardware-accelerated ray tracing built in. This is up to four times faster than software-based ray tracing technology and will likely shape the Mobile Gaming industry going forward. Here’s an example of what gaming with and without ray tracing looks like:

In addition to this, Apple has also made improvements to the Neural Engine. In combination with MetalFX Upscaling, the A17 Pro can deliver high-resolution graphics while using dramatically less power, keeping you in-game for longer.
